Download Instagram Videos on Android
On Android, saving an Instagram video is even easier than on iPhone — the file drops straight into your Downloads and gallery. Follow these steps to save any public video in HD.
Copy the Instagram link
In the Instagram app, tap the three-dot menu on the video or reel and select Copy Link. The link is copied to your clipboard.
Paste it into DownloadVideoIG
Open Chrome (or any browser), visit this page, paste the link into the box and tap Download. Use the Paste button if you prefer.
Save to your gallery
Tap the green download button. Android saves the MP4 to your Downloads folder, and most phones show it in the Gallery or Google Photos automatically.
If the video does not appear
Check your Downloads folder using the Files app. If your gallery does not show it immediately, it can take a minute to index, or you can move it into your DCIM folder manually.
Finding your downloaded videos
Most Android phones drop downloads into the Downloads folder, which you can open with the Files or “My Files” app. If the clip does not show in your Gallery right away, it usually appears after a minute once the media library refreshes.
Any browser works
Chrome, Samsung Internet, Firefox and Brave all handle downloads on Android without extra apps. If one browser blocks the save, switch to another and paste the same link — the result is identical.
